At EstateHack, we strive to provide top-notch software tools to help you succeed in Section 8 real estate investing. Our Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds are available for our subscription-based Services at www.estatehack.com. By subscribing to or purchasing our Services, you agree to this policy. Please read it carefully before making a purchase.



1. Subscription Refunds


EstateHack offers subscription plans (e.g., monthly, annual) to access our property discovery, analysis, and management tools. Here’s how refunds work:


30-Day Money-Back Guarantee:

If you’re not satisfied with our Services, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial subscription purchase. This applies only to your first billing cycle and excludes renewals. To qualify:

  • Contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of your purchase date.
  • Provide your account email and a brief reason for the request.
  • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to your original payment method.


After 30 Days:

No refunds are available after the initial 30-day period. Subscriptions continue until canceled per our Terms of Use.

  • Renewals:
    Automatic renewals (monthly or annual) are non-refundable unless there’s a technical error on our end (see Section 3).


Why This Matters:

We offer a generous trial period to ensure EstateHack meets your needs. After that, our focus shifts to continuous value delivery.



2. Cancellation Policy


You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation terms:

  • Monthly Plans: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. No pro-rated refunds are issued.
  • Annual Plans: Cancellation stops future renewals, but the remaining term is non-refundable unless within the 30-day guarantee (first purchase only).

Note: Canceling doesn’t automatically trigger a refund—see Section 1 for eligibility.



3. Exceptions for Refunds


We may issue refunds outside the 30-day window in these rare cases:

  • Service Failure: If EstateHack experiences a prolonged outage (over 48 hours) preventing access to core features (e.g., property analysis tools), we’ll offer a pro-rated refund for the affected period.
  • Billing Errors: If we overcharge you or charge for a service not delivered, contact us within 60 days for a full correction.
  • Legal Requirements: Refunds mandated by U.S. law will be honored (e.g., if a state requires a cooling-off period).

How to Request: Email [email protected] with proof of the issue (e.g., error screenshots).



4. Non-Refundable Items


The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Partial Use: Fees for months or periods already used, even if canceled mid-cycle.
  • Third-Party Fees: Costs from payment processors (e.g., Stripe) or external data providers integrated into EstateHack.
  • Promotional Offers: Free trials, discounts, or one-time purchases (e.g., add-ons) unless defective.



5. Processing Refunds


  • Refunds are returned to your original payment method (e.g., credit card, PayPal).
  • Processing takes 7-10 business days; bank delays may extend this timeline.
  • You’ll receive email confirmation once processed.

Note: If your payment method is no longer valid, we’ll work with you to find an alternative.



6. Changes to This Policy


We may update this Refund Policy as our Services evolve. Check this page for the latest version. Significant changes will be notified via email or on our site.
